Incidents of mass violence continue to rise domestically and globally, and the need for long-term healing is more apparent than ever. Join Tuesday’s Children as we convene experts working to counter violent extremism in unique ways, as well as individuals and organizations working to support communities and families affected by trauma and loss and the ripple effects that ring out beyond the immediate tragedy. Featured experts in the fields of trauma, grief, bereavement, disaster response and recovery, and community resilience will discuss best practices and lessons learned from various traumatic events.
This one-day conference features keynote talks and panel discussions highlighting innovative work with individuals and communities impacted by terrorism and traumatic loss, including global incidents of terrorism, mass shootings, violent extremism, cross-cultural perspectives and assistance for responder and military populations.
